The Australian Pink FloydProbably the most famous Pink Floyd tribute band in the world! In at the very start of the tribute phenomenon, The Australian Pink Floyd started out in 1988, playing in pubs around Adelaide, Australia. They have progressed to play gigs worldwide, including the famous British venue The Royal Albert Hall in London, England, UK. The band have received many accolades including approval from Pink Floyd themselves. They went to the backstage "Division Bell" tour party at Earls Court in October 1994 and played at David Gilmour's 50th birthday party where they were joined on stage by Guy Pratt and Richard Wright !! The Australian Pink Floyd played at the 1998 Glastonbury Festival - one of the wettest ever! Current Australian Pink Floyd Show Band Members : They are managed by Chas Cole. |
